Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Job Description

This position is for a Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) in a rapid admission unit, focusing on general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to general medical and surgical patients.
• Manage a patient load that turns over faster than a typical medical-surgical unit.
• Ensure clear communication with patients and healthcare team members.
• Work independently while delivering high-quality patient care.

Schedule

This is a day shift position, working 12-hour shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours weekly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg specialty.
• Current RN license verification through Nursys.
• Completion of a skills checklist.
• References and certification card are required.
• Work history/resume must reflect no gaps greater than 60 days.
