CAD Engineer

Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for a CAD Engineer. Job Title: CAD Engineer Job Location: Pleasanton, CA Work Schedule: Onsite Pay Rate: $34, Based on experience Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Engineer to support a high-priority initiative focused on improving and updating a large volume of existing engineering drawings. This role is not focused on new product design but on high-volume revision and improvement work based on manufacturing feedback. Responsibilities Review and update existing SolidWorks drawings based on manufacturing and production feedback Modify dimensions, tolerances, annotations, and BOMs Ensure consistency between 3D models and 2D drawings Execute high-volume drawing revisions efficiently Manage revisions using PDM (SolidWorks PDM / EPDM) KPI (Key Performance Indicators) 6 - 10 drawing revisions per day per engineer (depending on complexity) - Backlog reduction target: 20 - 30% per month 100% compliance with PDM revision and workflow standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer technology, or equivalent experience Minimum of 3+ years' experience in CAD software Proficiency in SolidWorks (Drawing environment focused) Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications (preferred) Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
