PRN Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a per diem phlebotomist for its Wilmington, NC location to perform blood collections and specimen processing. The float position offers flexible scheduling up to 19 hours weekly across Friday-Sunday, with opportunities to gain broad clinical experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for diverse patient populations
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
• Enter patient information accurately and process billing information when required
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain specimen information logs
• Travel to additional clinical sites as business needs dictate

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• At least 21 years of age
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision

Compensation: Quarterly performance bonus plus $1.00/hour float differential and mileage reimbursement
