Job Description:
- Seasoned Expertise: 7+ years of experience in firewall and network administration, with a focus on firewall management.
- Firewall Mastery: Hands-on experience in firewall administration, including maintenance, upgrades, testing, and configuration changes.
- Versatile Knowledge: Proficiency in router and switch administration, with expertise in Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Check Point firewalls.
- Cloud Security: Experience with AWS, Azure, and Palo Alto Prisma.
- Architecture Acumen: Desired experience in firewall and security architecture.
- Best Practice Savvy: Strong understanding of firewall management and cybersecurity principles.
- Documentation Proficiency: Skilled in developing and updating technical documentation using tools like Visio.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) and network monitoring tools.
- SOP Development: Ability to generate and leverage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Security Alert Management: Familiarity with investigating IDS/IPS alerts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of PCI principles and best practices.
- Process Adherence: Familiarity with ITIL principles, problem and change management, and trend reporting.
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Availability: Daytime on-call duties required.
- Work Environment: Remote or office-based work as needed.
