Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Peoria, Illinois. This temporary assignment involves providing high-quality nursing care in a Level 1 trauma emergency department. The position requires skilled individuals capable of managing a diverse patient population, from newborns to the elderly, with varying acuity levels.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Evenings, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Illinois state nursing license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications; minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 prior travel assignment.
• Preferred Qualifications: SANE RN experience, experience working in teaching hospitals with residents, proficiency in titrating vasopressor and cardiac drips.
• Schedule: Evening shifts (1 PM to 1 AM).
• Additional Information: Responsible for managing a wide variety of critical and non-critical patients, including trauma patients. Will work with a team of physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, and ED technicians. Must interpret cardiac rhythms and operate Phillips monitors. Floats to support other units are rare but possible. No specific scrub color required.
