Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Pearland, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position located in a busy emergency department. This role involves handling patients from birth to death, providing acute care in a fast-paced environment. The shift is during the day, with rotating weekends and no on-call duties. Job Details: Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Certifications required include Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC). Candidates without these skills will not be considered. Unit Information: Location: Emergency Room Unit beds: 12 Staff: Charge nurse plus 4 core staff members per shift Patient ratios: Approximate 1:4 to 1:5 Equipment: GE Electronic Fetal Heart Monitor (EFM) Typical procedures performed include handling patients from birth to death. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with ER experience are considered first. Additional Information: Dress code: Royal blue scrubs or attire Unit operates under standard nursing practice act and policies. Rotating weekends are required; no on-call responsibilities. Experience: No minimum years of experience specified; suitable for candidates starting their ER nursing career or with limited experience.
