TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Newport News, Virginia, 23601!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months of med/surg experience required. License: Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required. - Previous charge experience preferred. - Patient ratio experience of 6 patients per nurse during night shifts. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a medical-surgical float pool. The role involves floating to various medical units as needed. Must be able to handle a patient load typically of 1:6 during night shifts. Previous experience in medical/surgical nursing is essential. Candidates should possess the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Experience in ortho trauma and total joint replacement is a plus. All candidates must have necessary certifications through the American Heart Association. A supervisory reference is required for submission. Specialty experience within the last year is needed. Floating may be required based on the facility's needs.
