Now hiring for a Yard Hostler location: Desoto, TX. Pay rate: $25.00 per hour. Available shifts: Sunday Thursday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM, Tuesday Thursday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM, Sunday Wednesday: 3:30 PM 2:00 AM, Thursday Saturday: 3:30 PM 2:00 AM. Local yard position | Home daily.

What You'll Do:
- Operate a yard goat/yard hostler with an automatic transmission
- Move containers and 53? trailers within the yard
- No touch freight
- No unloading
- Move trailers/containers between the dock door and yard locations
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Exit the yard mule and chock rear trailer wheels during loading operations
- Verify trailers are clear before moving equipment
- Move approximately 3050 trailers/containers per shift
- Pulling containers from dock doors, relocating trailers within the yard, frequent backing, and following all customer safety procedures
- Must be comfortable using onboard computer systems and working independently in a busy yard environment
Driving Requirements:
- 22+ years of age
- Valid license
- DOT medical card
- FMCSA clearinghouse registered and clear
- MVR 1 year of yard hostling experience (within the past 3 years)
- No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
- No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
