Machine Operator - 2nd Shift - Wire EDM and Mills

Primarily run the Wire EDM on 2nd shift to produce quality products

A Day In The Life

Primarily operate Wire EDMs

Work on Mill Machines as needed

Inspect own work using various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparator.

Maintain quality and production standards.

Perform secondary operations as required.

Read and interpret blueprints.

Participate on continuous improvement teams and incorporate lean practices into daily activities.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Willing to work overtime.

Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

What will help you thrive in this role?

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

At least 6 months-1 year experience required with Wire EDM.

Ability to read and write English and do basic math.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Must be able to lift 35 lbs on a regular basis.
