Global Sub‑Solution Advisor GRC, GTS, Tax Location: Any SAP North America office location. Overview The Domain Expert is responsible for supporting success through end‑to‑end GTM within the Tax and Trade solution area. The expert will collaborate with the GRC, GTS, and Tax sub‑solution area leaders on key elements across sales, marketing, partners, and the digital hub to build and expand the customer base and create healthy, growing revenue streams. Responsibilities End‑to‑end design of the go‑to‑market strategy for the Global Trade solution area, including strategic input and direction for transformation programs. Work hand in hand with Partner, Marketing, Digital Hub, Presales, and CSM teams to create a holistic approach that meets KPI goals, including revenue and pipeline. Provide overall strategy and planning across the GTM cycle, multi‑year business planning, and financial planning process. Contribute to the LOBs Strategy Document, Growth Priorities, Market Sentiment Reviews, Board QBRs, marketing documents, and demo scripts. Coordinate sales and consumption plays, programs, and campaigns. Support the creation and development of Sales Plays with Product Marketing. Serve as the strategic point of contact for Global Trade globally, providing tailored insights, solutions, and thought leadership aligned to business priorities. Act as the go‑to expert on market trends and customer needs, translating insights into actionable strategies for product direction and customer engagement. Partner closely with demand management teams to align strategy and ensure a healthy pipeline. Collaborate with local partners on thought‑leadership events and collateral. Drive sales strategies with Solex partners within the sub‑solution area. Specific to the Solution Area of Global Trade Deep understanding of customer requirements and solutions across a diverse industry base. Deep understanding of the SAP Global Trade solution set. Support the evolving Global Trade strategy in 2026 alongside the Sub‑solution area lead for GRC / Tax / GTS. Drive in‑region market awareness of solutions across the Global Trade portfolio and SAP Business Suite through event presentations, partner engagement, market unit enablement, and thought‑leadership activities (e.g., blogs, white papers). Become part of a global network of sub‑solution area domain experts across Finance & Spend, sharing knowledge on demand generation, customer success stories, and product/market evolutions. Work with regional/MU sales organizations, partners, solution management, value engineering, and consulting services to support lighthouse customer success cases. Work Experience, Skills & Competencies Professional experience with large, multi‑national software/IT organizations and demonstrated expertise in Global Trade, SAP Document Reporting and Compliance, SAP GTS, SAP Finance, SAP ERP, and SAP S/4HANA. 10+ years of relevant solutions/LOB experience in presales, consulting, or direct customer support in SAP environments, especially with complex manufacturing, supply‑chain, and finance requirements. Working knowledge of cloud in B2B and B2C environments, including SaaS, PaaS, and cloud‑based commerce/networking. Positioned as a solution/LOB expert across SAP, leveraging an extensive network to drive pipeline and revenue growth. Strong executive‑level customer engagement experience. Strong presentation and communication skills. Education and Qualification MBA or equivalent degree from an accredited university (preferred). Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset. Proficiency of the solution portfolio. Executive speaking and presenting (C‑level). Compensation The targeted annual combined range for this position is 194,100–411,600 USD. The actual offer will be within that range contingent on factors such as education, skills, experience, scope of role, location, and other relevant criteria.
