Requirements Job Duties: Provide leadership to the kitchen staff Oversee pre-meal and meal preparation, including ordering necessary supplies and meeting with vendors Manage all kitchen expenses (food, equipment, staff) within budget Assist with marketing and social events, including decorating the dining room area Responsible for meeting company standards for kitchen/dining room cleanliness and organization. Requirements: Must have a current Food Handler’s Permit Must pass a criminal background check Prior experience with cooking in an institutional setting required; Strong leadership and communication skills; Ability to use a computer when necessary to fulfil the duties of the role; Ability to understand and meet specialized dietary needs; Prior experience managing expenses within budgetary guidelines; Organized with a commitment to exceptional customer service
