Whether you're an experienced manufacturing professional or looking to start a new career, we provide the support and development you need to succeed.What You Can Expect from ALPLACompetitive pay and comprehensive benefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchChildcare and dependent care savings programsPaid vacation and holidaysCompany-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insuranceTuition reimbursement and educational assistance programsCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesEmployee recognition programsHands-on training and professional developmentA stable, growing company committed to sustainabilityReady to Build Your Future?Join a team where your contributions matter, your development is supported, and your career can grow with a global industry leader.What Will You Enjoy DoingTo perform maintenance of proprietary ALPLA equipment (e.g. Extrusion Blow Molding machines, Stretch Blow Molding machines, Injection Molding machines, packaging systems, automated palletizers) and general facility maintenance.Equipment installation and preventative maintenance:Set up proprietary ALPLA equipmentConduct regular preventive maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal functionality and prolong equipment lifespan.Perform adjustments to machinery as needed to enhance performance and accommodate specific production requirements.Performs predictive maintenance:Utilize predictive maintenance methodologies, such as condition monitoring and diagnostic tools, to identify potential issues before they lead to downtime or production disruptions.Employ specialized technical knowledge to perform predictive maintenance tasks, including assessing equipment health.Troubleshooting and repairs:Diagnose technical problems and malfunctions in molding machines using a systematic approach to identify root causes accurately.Collaborate with technical experts and utilize troubleshooting techniques to address routine issues effectively and efficiently.Execute repairs on molding machines, both independently and with technical guidance, restoring equipment functionality promptly to minimize productionFacility Maintenance Support:Contribute to general facility maintenance tasks beyond equipment-specificAssist in maintaining a safe and organized working environment by addressing facility-related issues and supporting maintenance efforts in shared spaces.Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure a well-maintained and conducive production environment for seamless operationsWhat Makes You GreatPerforming a basic-skilled level of maintenance activities sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job listed above successfullyMin High School Diploma or equivalent2-year technical degree or equivalent experience at ALPLA or similar industrialKnowledge of Industrial Maintenance SafetyAbility to read basic blueprints and schematicsFamiliarity with power transmission systems and industrial controlsBasic understanding of hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience with programmable controllersKnowledge of occupational math skills for measurements and calculationsProblem-solving and team collaboration capabilitiesPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
