Occupational Therapist for Inpatient Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. No call required.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on adult and geriatric populations. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to aid in recovery and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions focused on rehabilitation needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Document patient progress in the EPIC charting system.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience required.
• Current BLS certification must be in hand at the time of application.
• Active occupational therapy license required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
