Orthopedic Registered Nurse - 6:45AM-7:15PM Shift

Job Description

Join a leading healthcare team specializing in orthopedic care, committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position on the Orthopedics Unit offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a 32-bed facility with state-of-the-art equipment and supportive staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct assessments, administer medications, and document patient progress.
• Perform dressing changes, suture/staple removals, Foley catheter insertions, and wound vac maintenance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support and educate patients and families on post-operative care and rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid North Carolina RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Previous hospital experience, with orthopedic experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
