Fabricator

The company is currently seeking a Fabricator in Boyne City, MI. SALARY Starting at $22.73/hr. Responsibilities Assemble company products or parts using fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment Fit, adjust, calibrate and align to ensure free action and movement of parts, tolerance fits, and operating requirements. Set up and run Press Brake Work from assembly drawings and specifications. Set up press brake to comply with forming requirement of drawing. Troubleshoot and correct problems as required. Use precision measuring instruments, testing devices, and equipment to check parts, units, fits, and operating requirements. Count, weigh, transport, and pile materials. Perform material handling work directly related to production operations. Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality. Maintain acceptable performance and quality standards. Demonstrate interpersonal skills in dealing with management and fellow employees. Perform other work-related duties as required. Participate in the company quality process. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED CNC experience or equivalent preferred Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to read assembly drawings Previous shop experience with knowledge of manufacturing flow Ability to work under pressure Self‑starter with ability to handle multiple tasks Ability to prioritize work Good problem solving and communication skills Ability to read and write Benefits Medical/RX Insurance – three plan options (two with HSA with employer contributions) Dental & Vision Coverage
