About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with cardiac catheterization, angiograms, and interventional radiology cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes. Ability to administer sedation and recover sedation patients. Experience with arterial access recovery. Experience working in a multidisciplinary team. Description: Immediate start needed. Manager interviews required. Inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patient types discussed during the interview. Charting system: Cerner. Medication dispensing system: Pyxis. No floating requirement. Weekend rotation: once per month. RTO approval is subject to manager approval. On-call expectation: 1 night per week from 4 PM - 6 PM, with rotating weekends. Holiday expectations will be discussed during the interview. Scrub color for procedural work will be provided.
