Full-Time Nurse Practitioner

The Full-Time Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive, compassionate primary care to diverse patient populations in a rural clinic setting, ensuring high-quality medical services while supporting clinic operations. This role integrates clinical duties with administrative responsibilities, contributing to efficient patient flow and adherence to healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate, comprehensive care across diverse patient populations
2. Conduct exams, order diagnostic testing, and prescribe treatment or medications
3. Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness toward patients and colleagues
4. Collaborate with healthcare teams to support positive outcomes and seamless patient care
5. Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies
6. Participate in team meetings, committees, and special projects
7. Assist department managers in developing and implementing clinic policies and procedures
8. Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license and certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner
• AANP or ANCC Board Certification required or eligibility for certification
• Furnishing number (for Nurse Practitioners only)
• DEA license (unrestricted)
• NPI number required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Skills:

• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Previous experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in underserved or medically needy communities preferred
