About the Role Hahn Loeser & Parks seeks a skilled litigation paralegal for its San Diego office to support commercial litigation matters in California state and federal courts. This hybrid role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can manage deadlines, discovery, filings, and trial preparation with confidence. Draft pleadings, notices, motions, and other court filings Prepare deposition notices, materials, exhibits, and related summaries Organize and maintain case files, indexes, and key documents Coordinate with clients, witnesses, courts, vendors, and opposing counsel Manage discovery, document productions, and e-discovery workflows Track deadlines and ensure timely court filings, including e-filing Qualifications 3+ years of defense-side commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting Degree and paralegal certificate preferred; equivalent experience considered Strong knowledge of California state and federal court rules and procedures Experience with discovery, document production, and trial preparation Proficiency with legal research, document management, and review platforms, including Westlaw, iManage, and Nuix/Ringtail preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Trial support experience, including use of Trial Director or similar software Strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle and the paralegal role from case opening through trial The expected salary range is $90,000-$125,000, based on experience, education, training, and relevant skills.
