Project Executive - Data Center Construction

Project ExecutiveMortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Executive who is responsible for providing overall management for large projects, leading the project team, and ensuring key and successful customer relations, as well as assisting operating groups with winning work. This individual will have the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain successful customer and community relationshipsConduct key customer service visits from pre-construction to close-outPreview proposals and participate in Request for Proposal processAct as primary customer contact for assigned projectsSupport business development initiatives and maintain customer relationshipsProvide oversight and accountability for large projectsManage contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoicesMaintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitable deliveryProvide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for project teamQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent fieldMinimum 10 years' experience in construction management overseeing large projectsProven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projectsDetail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksPossess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesMicrosoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level.Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesCurrent driver's licenseKnowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusive Behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans and their intended useAbility to travel up 50-75%A few benefits offered include:Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $168,100 MIN - $252,200 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days.As a top builder, developer, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), our expertise spans markets like sports, renewable energy, data centers, healthcare, and more.
