Radiation Therapist Opportunity

From administering targeted treatments to collaborating with oncology professionals, you'll play a vital role in helping patients fight cancer with confidence and compassion-right when they need it most.
What You'll Need:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
AART Certification in Radiation Therapy
Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required
2 years' experience as a radiation therapist
ARRT certification
BLS certification
1+ years of experience
Experience with daily delivery of radiation therapy treatment
Experience with Varian linear Accelerator and Record and Verify System
Additional Duties:
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment
Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team
Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy
Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records
Assignment Details
- 36 scheduled hours per week.
- Every other weekend required.
- No call required.
- Floating required as needed.
- EMR: EPIC.

Outdoor travelers can reach Lake Fort Smith State Park in about 40 miles for hiking and kayaking, while the city also offers access to Janet Huckabee Arkansas River Valley Nature Center for fishing and wildlife viewing.
