Medical Laboratory Technologist - Blood Bank

This position requires a night shift from 9 PM to 7 AM on weekdays and 7 PM to 7 AM on weekends, following a 7 on, 7 off rotation.

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist with extensive blood bank experience to join our team. This role involves performing laboratory tests and procedures, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex blood bank tests and analyses.
• Maintain accurate records of patient results and laboratory activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide essential information for patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory.
• Assist in training and mentoring new laboratory staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified by ASCP or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting; 5 years preferred.
• Extensive experience in blood banking, with advanced knowledge in chemistry and hematology.
