Occupational Therapist Assistant, OTA - Weatherford area

Occupational Therapist Assistant position at DFW Home Health, part of LHC Group, a leading post-acute care partner for hospitals, physicians, and families nationwide. This role is responsible for providing occupational therapy to patients to restore them to their fullest physical ability. Primary Responsibilities Follow all state-specific laws governing occupational therapy in home care and administer treatment as defined by supervising OT. Assist patients in evidence-based therapy within the scope of an occupational therapy assistant and in accordance with state laws. Observe, record, and report patients’ responses to treatment to the nurse supervisor and physician. Educate patients, families, caregivers, and health‑care team members about therapy within the assistant’s scope. Provide care suitable for any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition. Required Qualifications Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice. Current driver’s license with vehicle insurance and dependable vehicle, or access to public transportation. Certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Preferred Qualifications Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently. Good communication, writing, and organizational skills. Pay Range Annual Total Cash Target Pay: $53,528 – $80,292 Hourly Pay Range: $25.73 – $38.60 Per Visit Point Pay Range: $30.88 – $46.32 Annual total cash compensation for this role assumes full-time employment (40 weekly hours) at full productivity. Compensation includes earnings from per visit point pay and hourly pay and may increase based on productivity and performance. The role is paid per visit point rate when conducting visits and receives hourly rate for non‑visit activities such as orientation.
