Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ year in Telemetry or Cardiac Telemetry License: Current RN License in the state of Missouri Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year of Telemetry or Cardiac Telemetry experience, inpatient only. ACLS certification. Experience reading telemetry. Working with patients with congestive heart failure, chest pain, renal issues, and hemodialysis patients. Experience with amiodarone and Cardizem drips. Ability to work with central lines (HD catheters, ports, PICCs).

Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry. The role requires providing direct patient care activities for all age groups. Duties include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort. The position involves working closely with patients who have various medical conditions including congestive heart failure and arrhythmias. The nurse will be part of a fast-paced and high-acuity environment. Working conditions include standing and walking most of the time. There may be significant bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain patient confidentiality. Candidates should demonstrate compassion, empathy, team spirit, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Dress code includes wearing black scrubs with the facility logo on the left chest. Acceptable undershirts in various colors, including black, white, yellow, green, red, and blue, are permitted. The facility operates in accordance with established guidelines of nursing practice.
