The Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking to fill one (1) Information Technology Manager 1 position in the Information Services Division. What you'll do as an Information Technology Manager 1: - Supervise IT support staff responsible for service desk operations, inventory control, end-user support, and device distribution.
- Manage daily workflow, monitor workloads, provide coaching, complete evaluations, support professional development, and assist in hiring and onboarding.
- Oversee ServiceNow service desk processes, handle advanced escalations, and coordinate coverage to ensure timely and prompt resolution of issues.
- Strategically plan for hardware replacement and assist with IT procurement.
- Provide assistance with the onboarding of new staff, maintain documentation and job aids, contribute content for internal platforms, and support IT needs for agency events.
- Analyze user needs, assist with system updates, and ensure adherence to IT standards.
