Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Surgical Tech II with extensive experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures. This travel position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment, supporting high-acuity cases on night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for complex surgical cases.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques.
• Manage patient safety and sterile environment throughout surgeries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth OR operations and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and supplies used.
• Comply with hospital protocols, including dress code and scrub colors.

Qualifications:

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required at submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, or vascular surgeries.
• Ability to work night shifts and float to other units as needed.
• Strong knowledge of sterile procedures and surgical instrumentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to review clinicians with pending state licenses.
