Job Position – Welder & Fabricator

Job Timings: First Shift – Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Basic Job Functions:- Fabricate and assemble the metal components by cutting, bending forming parts
- Using simple measuring equipment such as squares, bevel, tape measures and calipers.
- Fabricate & perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on Steels & variety of metals
- Operate Forklift/ Overhead cranes
- Maintain a clean/organized/safe work area
- Produce a quality product
- Ability to use power tools
- Loading/offloading trucks
- Operate a spray gun for Priming & painting
- Set up and run cutting saws, plasma cutters, and various cutting/ bending tools for metal preparation
- Operate shop machines (Shearing, bending, plasma cutting, rolling, drilling, cutting, pipe plasma cutting, hole punching machine)
- Ability to use power tools
- Assist other employees when required
- Other duties as assigned
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Orsolini; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards always.
Minimum Qualifications:- 2 or more years of steel fabrication and welding experience
- Basic reading, writing, arithmetic and communication skills required
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Driver's license, preferred but not required
Special Demands:
- Must be able to work overtime when required
Physical Demands:
- Should be able to lift 50 lbs. when necessary
- Ability to be on feet for extend periods of time
- Working conditions can be noisy/ dusty/smoky/ hot/ cold
