Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Primary Care - Laredo, TX

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to cover a territory in South Texas, serving as primary customer contact for medical professionals. The role involves promoting Amgen's pharmaceutical products, managing accounts, driving sales targets, and navigating reimbursement landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical benefits and product knowledge to medical professionals to drive appropriate product utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement, medical educational programs, and branded messaging
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions based on needs, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze territory performance, provide marketing feedback, and collaborate on territory planning with District Manager
• Build and sustain brand passion while demonstrating commitment to patient outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or High School diploma with 6 years sales experience
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or related industry sales or clinical experience preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills focused on sales outcomes
• Knowledge of specialty areas such as oncology, cardiology, inflammation, or nephrology preferred
• Local market knowledge and territory management capabilities
• Life Sciences or Business Administration degree preferred

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 base annual
