The Shift Coordinator provides tactical leadership within a distribution center environment, serving as an extension of the Elwood Staffing onsite team. This individual is responsible for overseeing a designated group of Elwood Staffing associates while also performing regular warehouse and production duties.

Shift Coordinator Details:
- Temporary position
- $24.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:00pm )
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of recent supervisory or shift lead experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Proven experience leading teams, coaching employees, and holding associates accountable for performance, attendance, and workplace policies.
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability, commitment, and leadership growth.
Shift Coordinator Qualifications:
- Provide daily attendance and staffing reports to Elwood Staffing and client leadership.
- Submit the daily roster prior to the start of each shift.
- Notify supervisors of associates leaving early or attendance concerns throughout the shift
- Coach and counsel associates on attendance, productivity, PPE compliance, dress code, and workplace behavior
- Document employee coaching and performance discussions
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing associates
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
