What We’re Looking ForRequired:Graduate of an accredited nursing programActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of KansasAbility to maintain required licensure, certifications, and continuing educationCurrent CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and make sound clinical decisions, including in urgent or emergent situationsProficiency with basic computer and documentation systemsAbility to pass required state background checks (KBI, Central Registry, and DCF)Preferred:BSN preferred but not requiredTwo years of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experienceCPI certificationFull-time availabilityPhysical & Work Requirements:Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, and safely assist with patient restraints when necessaryAbility to observe patient behavior and respond in a calm, non-judgmental, and therapeutic mannerFlexibility in scheduling to meet patient and program needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
