Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Cold Storage Environment)

Location: ColdTrack Facility
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in a cold storage environment. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring smooth communication with drivers, carriers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Process inbound and outbound shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage
Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts while following safety procedures
Accurately enter shipment data into warehouse management systems (WMS)
Prepare shipping documents, labels, and manifests
Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
Maintain organization of the shipping and receiving area
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
Follow all safety, OSHA, and food-grade handling guidelines
Work in cold storage conditions (freezer environment) while using proper PPE

Requirements:

Ability to speak and understand English to effectively communicate with drivers, clients, and carriers
Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a plus (training provided)
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
