Inventory Team Lead - Cycle Counter

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Monitor and delegate Cycle-Counters daily activity. Ensure counts are being performed accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate data in KWCS and provide clerical support to drive operational efficiency. Check inventory dates to ensure product quality is maintained. Apply appropriate codes for out-of-date and/or damaged products. Maintain accurate data in inventory management system. Enter correct product data into KWCS system based on physical inventory counts. Make appropriate adjustments to ensure system data matches physical counts.

7a-4p Monday to Friday

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

Minimum one year of Inventory Control experience required. Minimum one year of leadership experience preferred. Food service industry experience preferred. Knowledge of FDA and USDA guidelines. Microsoft Office experience a must, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Data entry (10-key by touch) skills required. Knowledge of warehouse RF system and using an RF scanner. Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications. Exceptional communication skills. Professional phone-etiquette skills. Self-starter with ability to multi-task. Excellent organization skills. Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Customer-focused. Strong attention to detail. Good problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions. Able to read product lists and packages. Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to handle product weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to repetitively lift. Ability to learn to operate heavy warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts. Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs. Must be able to work in different warehouse temperature zones. Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery horns).
