Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Optometrist for a community-focused outpatient setting in Northern Maine. This role offers autonomy, strong collaboration with primary care providers, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an underserved rural population.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services, including routine and emergency treatment, while working collaboratively within an integrated primary care team. This position emphasizes patient-centered care, continuity, and community impact.

SCHEDULE
• Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
• 4 day work week available
• No nights
• No call

COMPENSATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive optometry services
• Diagnose and treat eye conditions and vision issues
• Deliver emergency eye care as needed
• Collaborate with primary care providers
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Support continuity of care within the community

• Graduate of an approved school of optometry
• Active Maine Optometrist license or ability to obtain
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in rural or community based care preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Commitment to compassionate, high quality care
