RN – Interventional RadiologyRegistered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology for an exciting travel assignment in Topeka, KS. This role starts ASAP and involves providing professional nursing care in a dynamic cardiac catheterization environment. Nurses will work four 9-hour shifts per week and participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.Seven Healthcare prioritizes support, communication, and a nurse-first approach. Benefits include:License reimbursement – financial support to maintain your professional credentialsReferral program – earn rewards for introducing fellow healthcare professionalsHealth insurance – comprehensive medical coverage for you and your familyCertification reimbursement – assistance with obtaining additional qualificationsWeekly pay – prompt and reliable payments every weekKey responsibilities of the Registered Nurse – Cath Lab/IR include:Perform patient assessment and continuous monitoring during cardiac proceduresAdminister medications, including sedation, per orders and policyAssist physicians during invasive cardiovascular and peripheral proceduresMonitor cardiac rhythm, hemodynamic status, and patient response to changesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plansDocument assessments, interventions, and patient responses accuratelyEducate patients and families about procedures and recoveryParticipate in Cath Lab on-call rotation for emergent cardiovascular casesDemonstrate nursing practice guided by Jean Watson's Theory of Human CaringFoster effective communication and collaborative work environmentMentor staff and students as assignedEngage in shared governance, quality improvement, and evidence-based initiativesRequirements of the Registered Nurse – Cath Lab/IR include:AHA BLS certification and KS or multistate license required at submissionRecent Cath Lab experience within the last yearExperience with STEMI, PCI, Impella, IABP, peripheral angiogram, and intervention workProficiency with GE MacLab and EPIC charting systemsTopeka offers a vibrant community with cultural attractions and a comfortable lifestyle.
