About This Role The RN 2 in the Outpatient Orthopaedics department at Strong Memorial Hospital is responsible for providing competent direct patient care in a busy Orthopaedic practice. This role is ideal for a skilled nurse who can multitask and lead a team in delivering optimal patient care. Highlights Pay: $37.12 - $50.11/hour Location: Rochester, NY Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital Schedule: Full-time, Rotating shifts What You'll Do Provide direct care to ambulatory Orthopaedic patients. Fit braces and assist with procedures. Perform suture and staple removal. Apply various casts and splints to patients. Administer medications. Educate patients and staff. Assume charge nurse duties as needed. Contribute to unit activities and enhance care delivery systems. Support peers in delivering patient care services. Lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Education: NYS RN License required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience required. Prior experience in ambulatory care and/or Orthopaedics preferred.
