Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Electrophysiology RN for an outpatient Heart & Vascular clinic requiring 2 years of EP experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient Heart & Vascular clinic setting specializing in cardiology
• Electrophysiology (EP) Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• No floating between like units required

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Electrophysiology (EP) required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures including pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal and Watchman procedure
• Experience with EP procedures including arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, AICD insertion/programming, LAA closure, and pacemaker insertion
• Medication administration experience with antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care in electrophysiology and cardiac procedures within an outpatient clinic setting
• Deliver patient education focused on lifestyle modification and medication adherence
• Participate in team-based quality improvement initiatives
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted
• Former Providence permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles
• Facility does not accept candidates with Nursys or background check hits
