Registered Behavior Technician in Middletown, DE

Job Description

Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an engaging summer environment as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This role is part of the Autism Program’s summer services and will span from late June through early August. You'll make a meaningful impact by providing essential behavioral support at elementary school sites, collaborating closely with education professionals.

Key Qualifications:

Active RBT certification required at start of assignment
Recent experience in a school, pediatric, or elementary classroom strongly preferred
Familiarity with data collection as it relates to student behavior and progress in a classroom setting
Proven ability and willingness to utilize physical intervention strategies when necessary
Commitment to fully participate in bathroom and personal care duties, including toileting, diapering, and similar responsibilities
Dependable access to reliable transportation
Availability for all required Professional Development (PD) and program dates—no exceptions

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct behavioral support to students in alignment with program protocols
Implement behavior intervention plans, including proactive and responsive strategies
Accurately collect and document behavioral and skills-based data
Foster a safe, structured environment that supports students’ unique learning needs
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
Participate in all aspects of care, including required bathroom duties

The summer program includes dedicated PD days (June 23 and 24), followed by Monday to Thursday sessions through August 6. Hours range from 6.5 to 7 hours daily, with all time on site at either the Richardson Park Elementary or Marbrook locations.
