Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Operating Room (OR) department within a hospital setting
• Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• On-call is required for this position
• Experience with inpatient, outpatient, pre/post procedure, and portable/bedside cases required

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required (AHA-issued only)
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Travel nurses are expected to actively support nursing students and contribute to clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
