With a personal approach to business, our employees—whether in one of our branches nationwide or at our corporate office—are committed to serving our customers and supplier partners with dedication and expertise.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:* Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality* Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; provide basic customer service functions* May perform basic modifications to parts of customer products per specified requirements* Oversight of outbound shipment processes* Assist with handling incoming telephone inquiries, and other administrative duties as requested* Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety and company standards* Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order ensure little to no accidents* Contribute and implement process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations* Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue* Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk* This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed* Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams* Protect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidential* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies* Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed**Minimum Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Forklift Certification* 3+ years in a high volume warehouse environment* Ability to Read and Write in English* Valid driver's license* Preferred Qualifications: Prior welding/torch experience, Proficiency in Spanish* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds* Ability to stand, walk, and sit up* Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel* Ability to climb or balance* Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl* Ability to reach with hands and arms* Ability to talk or hearThe pay range for this position is $22.45 - $34.28/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
