Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for cardiac medical unit patients, including monitoring telemetry, vitals, and hemodynamic status
- Administer medications and IV therapies, assess responses, and identify adverse events promptly
- Conduct regular patient assessments, adjust care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and document changes
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the EMR (Epic) and participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Respond to emergencies and uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards
- Float to other campus units as assigned, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to unit-specific protocols

Requirements
- Active RN license in Florida
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience; cardiac unit experience strongly preferred
- EMR experience with Epic
- Ability to float to other sister campuses as needed
- Education: degree accreditation or 5 years of related experience required
- Radius rule: within 50 miles of permanent address; RTO must be submitted with submission
