Job Details

This CDL A Driver position in Grimes, Iowa pays $30.00 per hour. You will deliver medical supplies and healthcare products to hospitals and other healthcare facilities on a local route. TransForce supports this Grimes delivery assignment with a focus on dependable service and driver safety.

This role requires a current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card. Drivers must be comfortable with heavy-touch freight, liftgate operation, electric pallet jack use, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

What You'll Be Doing

Operate a Class A tractor with a 53-foot trailer.
Deliver medical supplies and healthcare products primarily to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Load and unload freight at customer locations using a liftgate and electric pallet jack.
Complete heavy-touch deliveries and handle freight throughout the route.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery and DOT documentation.

What You Need

Valid CDL A
1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
Current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
Experience safely operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer.
Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
