2 proofs of residence are required.

Industrial Painter / Blasters

Genesis Industrial Staffing is seeking experienced Industrial Painters for a long-term opportunity at a large industrial facility in Pine Hill, Alabama.

We are looking for skilled industrial painters who can apply coatings using airless spray equipment, brushes, and rollers. Candidates with abrasive blasting experience are highly preferred.

Successful candidates should have solid experience painting in mills, plants, refineries, power plants, shipyards, or other heavy industrial environments and understand proper surface preparation, coating application, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial primers, epoxies, urethanes, and finish coatings using spray equipment, brushes, and rollers.

• Set up, operate, clean, and maintain industrial spray-painting equipment.

• Prepare steel, piping, structural components, and equipment for coating.

• Clean, scrape, sand, grind, wire brush, or blast surfaces as required.

• Mix and prepare coatings according to manufacturer specifications.

• Maintain proper coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality.

• Mask and protect surrounding equipment and work areas from overspray or contamination.

• Inspect completed work and correct runs, missed areas, or coating defects.

• Follow all job-site safety requirements and wear required PPE.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of industrial painting experience.

• Proven experience applying industrial coatings with an airless spray gun.

• Experience with brush-and-roll application in an industrial setting.

• Knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, mixing procedures, and proper application techniques.

• Abrasive blasting experience is strongly preferred and required to qualify for top pay.

• Must be dependable, safety-minded, and capable of producing quality work with limited supervision.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of an industrial painting crew.

• Must pass all required pre-employment screening requirements.
