HSE Regional Manager

Job Details Description Position Summary Stay informed of current and changing regulations from workplace-regulation agencies at the local, state, and federal levels, such as OSHA. Collect data and create reports for OSHA and management as needed. Provide technical support, direction, and oversight for the environmental, health, and safety issues that affect Jacam Catalyst LLC and its employees. Help create policy, procedures, and training. Provide program oversight for employees and managers to ensure they make sound safety decisions that comply with policies and procedures. Essential Functions Stay current on federal, state and local OSHA-type policies throughout Jacam Catalyst LLC operational area. Audit, inspect, and provide inspection tools to management for their OSHA program. Conduct group safety audits at the warehouse locations; document findings and assist with implementing recommendations. Observe workers and provide immediate feedback to enhance Identify areas of exceptional performance and areas of needed improvement in safety compliance. Provide department-specific reports to management and outside agencies. Implement training programs that foster a culture of safety consciousness, in compliance with federal regulations. Orchestrate training and advise regional personnel and management of new policies and procedures. Express ideas and thoughts verbally and in writing. Listen to the thoughts and ideas of others. Be an example of workplace standards and policy compliance for others. Qualifications High school Graduate or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in safety related field preferred. Proficient knowledge and experience in implementing OSHA and other legal and regulatory requirements. Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred. Must be able to dedicate 40% of working hours to travel to company facilities. A valid driver’s license is required. Skills & Abilities Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills. Efficiently navigate a web browser, follow online instructions, type, and use a mouse. Customer Service Skills: Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service. Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for your own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job possible. Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly. Work Environment Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employees should be prepared to work in extreme temperatures. Frequently used safety equipment includes, but is not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and an H2S monitor as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
