Test Technician II, 3rd Shift (Onsite)

Position Overview Planned, assembled, disassembled, reworked, and performed engineering development and qualification tests on aircraft components and systems. Analyzed test results to verify that required parameters were met, documented findings, and supported continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure products meet specifications and tolerance levels. Perform functional testing using established test procedures and record all results accurately. Diagnose and troubleshoot down to the component level. Monitor test completion, maintain test equipment, and document acceptance or failure outcomes. Operate hand tools, machine tools, and electronic/mechanical test equipment safely and effectively. Load and unload electronic units in test beds while adhering to quality and safety standards. Use SAP and computer‑based systems to follow work instructions and meet production schedules. Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and waste minimization initiatives. Collaborate across departments to resolve issues, train others as needed, and support audits and compliance activities. Work the 3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6:30am; train on 1st Shift for up to 60 days. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Experience with component‑level troubleshooting, schematics or blueprints, and use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and/or spectrum analyzers. Associate’s degree in Electronics or related field is preferred. Experience in the aerospace industry and with testing boards or end‑item units is a plus. 3–4 years of experience in a component‑level troubleshooting environment desired.
