As the Registered Nurse (RN) - Assisted Living Program Director, you will make a difference each and every day by helping to ensure that the services we provide are delivered with the greatest care. You will be responsible for the successful operation of our Becker Assisted Living program. In this role you will hire, coach and supervise the employees on your team. Registered Nurse (RN) - Assisted Living Program Director Conduct intakes/assessments of residents as needed to determine needs and services Coordinate with Social Service Intake Coordinator and Assisted Living RN to develop a plan of action to fulfill resident needs Ensure services are provided as detailed in the plan of care/service agreement at the time of admission and as needs change Set a professional standard of positive leadership in daily coaching, training and communication Participate in the hiring/orientation process for new staff and coordinate/participate in all training Ensure adequate 24-hour staffing to meet the needs of resident Ensure Life Enrichment services are provided as scheduled to meet resident needs Ensure a healthy and safe environment is maintained Work with Good Shepherd's Marketing/Welcome Center to proactively promote the Assisted Living program Coordinate services to address routine resident and family requests/concerns Assist with move-in/move-out paperwork and unit transfers Participate in budget development and the accomplishment of budgetary goals Coordinate the delivery of food and ensure food handling standards are followed per licensure requirements Maintain current understanding of MDH, DHS and Housing licensure/regulatory compliance factors related to Assisted Living program Work with the VP of Outreach to establish goals/processes that improve customer service, quality of life and staff education/retention Participate in the RN on-call rotation Registered Nurse (RN) - Assisted Living Program Director Generous Paid Time Off Earned Safe & Sick Time Off FREE Option for Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance for Employee 401K with Company Match Employee Referral Bonus Tuition Reimbursement & Scholarship Opportunities QualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN) - Assisted Living Program Director Current MN Licensed Nurse preferred Assisted Living Director in Residency required to obtain upon hire and Licensed Assisted Living Director License obtained within 1 year of hire 3-years' experience working with older adults 3-years' experience with direct supervision of staff preferred Demonstrated organizational, leadership, professional interpersonal communication skill both written and verbal Ability to effectively communicate in English in both verbally and in writing Must have proficient computer skills Project, program, and budget development experience Must be able to work independently, have strong organization skills, be self-motivated and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Must have a current, valid Driver's License with no driving violations within the standards of Good Shepherd's insurability Keywords: Program Director, Leadership, Licensed Assisted Living Director, LALD, Geriatrics, Long Term Care, LTC, Assisted Living, AL #J-18808-Ljbffr The Good Shepherd Community
