Dietary Cook

At West Melbourne Health & Rehabilitation Center, our team plays an important role in providing a positive dining experience for our residents each day. We're looking for a reliable and compassionate Dietary Cook who takes pride in preparing quality meals and helping create a welcoming environment for our residents.

What You'll Do

Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus and dietary guidelines
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Ensure meals are prepared in a timely and professional manner
Assist with kitchen cleaning and daily sanitation duties
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dietary team to provide excellent service

Qualifications

Previous cooking experience preferred, especially in healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume food service
Ability to prepare meals safely and efficiently
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to read, write, and understand English
Compassion and respect for elderly and disabled individuals
