AI Healthcare Engineer

The Voice Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab at USF Health's Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery is a translational research laboratory. The lab is dedicated to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of voice and swallowing disorders through artificial intelligence, machine learning, and speech technology. The work sits at the intersection of clinical medicine, acoustics, and data science — developing AI-powered tools that improve patient outcomes and expand access to voice care. The AI Healthcare Engineer will play a central role in designing, building, and deploying machine learning and AI systems for clinical voice analysis and voice-related applications. Working closely with clinicians, researchers, and data scientists, this individual will help translate cutting-edge research into functional tools used in both the lab and the clinical setting.
