Shift Details:

07.30am- 04.00pm

Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during exams and procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
Take and record patient medical and dental histories.
Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations.
Sterilize instruments and follow infection control procedures.
Assist with suctioning, instrument passing, and dental materials.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Document patient care accurately in the dental record.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized treatment areas.
Follow HIPAA, OSHA, facility policies, and dental regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Current, valid, and unrestricted NC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience as a Dental Assistant within the last 3 years .
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, ) .
