Senior Project Manager – Engineered Capital Equipment Birmingham, AL We are seeking a technically strong Senior Project to lead complex, engineered-to-order capital equipment projects from contract execution through delivery. This is not a coordination role. We need a seasoned professional who understands engineering design, manufacturing execution, and commercial risk and can take full ownership of multi-million-dollar projects from day one. We are entering a major execution phase and require immediate leadership capability. What You’ll Own Full P&L accountability for projects exceeding $1M Executive-level customer interface Sales-to-engineering handoff leadership Interpretation and communication of technical contract requirements Oversight of engineering design execution Cross-functional coordination with procurement, manufacturing, and suppliers Schedule development and risk mitigation Financial forecasting and reporting Post-delivery review and warranty follow-through Required Experience Technical experience inMechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field 8–12+ years of experience in engineered-to-order or capital equipment manufacturing Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar industrial projects Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Experience working within ERP-driven manufacturing environments Strong commercial and contract negotiation skills Ability to understand project accounting andfinancial reporting Education Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business. PMP preferred but secondary toexperience andtechnical depth.
