Survey Project Manager (RPLS)

Job Description

Impact Recruitmen t has partnered with a surveying firm that is located in Austin, Texas looking for a Survey Project Manager (RPLS).

They work with agencies and design engineers on a wide range of projects, such as topographic design and boundary surveys of all sizes, roadway design, right-of-way acquisition, utility facilities design, water/wastewater projects, drainage and flood studies, streambank stabilization, dam safety surveys, tree surveys, as-built surveys, aerial mapping control, and construction verification and staking.

The qualifications for this candidate require:

• Registered Professional Land Surveying license in Texas (RPLS)
• 10-15 years of experience in management
• a CAD background and have history in municipal, design topo and boundary Surveying

The day-to-day technical surveying tasks associated with this position may include, but may not be limited to, the following:

• Preparation and coordination of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys; Land Survey Plats; Subdivision Plats; Topographic and Design Surveys; etcetera.
• Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy.
• Processing of field data from the survey field team.
• Reviewing and addressing Title Commitments.
• Preparation and coordination of Legal Descriptions and Exhibits for Easements; License Agreements; etc.
• Managing land survey projects with minimal supervision and oversight;
• Building positive relationships with clients and co-workers to ensure effective communication.
• Management and scheduling of field crews; Ability to work independently, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
