This position ensures all field services department work activities are coordinated and organized, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations. Day in the LifeProcesses the necessary paperwork and documentation for field labor hiring and layoffs, ensuring all required information is provided to HR, payroll and union representatives. Partners with HR and Payroll to accurately maintain active employee dataProvides daily high-quality administrative support to labor managers, field leadership, and field employees. Coordinates various projects and maintains accurate systems data including, but not limited to, timekeeping, logs, training, certifications, and safetySchedules and coordinates meetings and training activities for field personnel, partnering with necessary departments to process technology requests and provides necessary training on tools such as iPads, laptops, and company softwareAssists with management of portability for field employees working in other local jurisdictions.Creates and maintains positive communications and relationships with customers, vendors and field staff that reflect and support the Company's core values.Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities.Promotes and models the Company mission, vision and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and providing high quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the publicMinimum QualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent work experience in construction management, IT support, administration, business or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in construction field dispatching.Strong knowledge and experience with union collective bargaining agreements and building construction is a plus.Strong process orientation.Strong organizational, project management, training, and customer service skills.High degree of professionalism, initiative and prioritization skills. Experience with direct customer contact and effective communication with employees and co-workers at all levels.
